Shekinah Tabernacle was established in September 1998. Our first bible study was held in the home of Deacon and Pastor Gardner. We had two families. At this meeting, the families consisted of seven children and three adults. We were so excited about the ministry that God was calling us to do that numbers did not matter.
After approximately one month, we held our first worship service in Elite Gym. Our services and Bible studies were in the aerobics room of the gym. God continued to open doors for us. After a short period of time we moved to the Hephzibah Jesse Carroll Community Center. Additionally, we were also able to rent two small offices that we used as church administrative offices. We proclaim God as the founder of our church. We consider it a privilege and an honor to serve such a great God. We are willing instruments, available and totally surrendered to the purposes that God has established for this ministry. |
